Your application is the first thing our recruiters see about you. Make sure to double-check it before pressing “submit.” We want you to show up at your best: Look for grammar and spelling mistakes, take time to accurately answer our pre-qualifying questions and make sure your employment information is accurate.
We want to get to know the real candidate. We want to know more than just your resume. Take the time to read directions through your candidate experience – like the application and any correspondence from a recruiter. Take every opportunity show us who you really are — we value what makes you unique.
Before your interview, research the people you are meeting — LinkedIn is a great place to start. Think about what in your background might be of interest to them. Prepare some questions that are specific to each interviewer based on their experience and role. Putting thought into your questions is a great way to show that you have done your research.

Applying for a new job or career path can take a lot of effort and pressing “submit” on an application can be daunting. We get that — and we want the process to be as easy as possible
So, you’ve applied online or we’ve reached out to you. What’s the next step? We’ll have a chat about your aspirations and experience, and also talk more about the role and Playtech’s culture. We’ll also work through a few short questions to assess your knowledge of the role you’re applying for, and how you approach certain problems. This is your chance to ask questions too, so ask as many as you’d like.
During the interview process at Playtech, you will have the opportunity to meet not only the recruiter but also the team members with whom you would potentially work closely. We aim to replicate the Playtech working environment, so you’ll dive in with team members and tackle tasks related to your role. We want to get a sense of how we’d work together, so explaining your thinking and asking questions are a key part of the session.
The recruitment process in Playtech includes pre-employment checks, which our partners contractually require Playtech to perform. These steps will take place after the test and/or interview rounds and before moving to the official offer stage. Playtech uses third-party service providers who will reach out to you on our behalf, to collect information on the needed checks. We will notify you which provider will contact you, as it depends upon jurisdictions that are in scope. Due to different local applicability, the exact scope of pre-employment checks do vary. The checks we potentially require during the standard recruitment process are: professional reference, ID check, right to work and criminal background checks. For the roles we consider critical at Playtech we might conduct additional checks like: qualification and adverse finance checks (anti-money laundering). The criticality of a role is defined internally and depends on the job role and the responsibility it carries. Necessary background check steps will be introduced to you by the responsible Talent Acquisition Partner. Once the pre-employment checks has been completed, the Talent Acquisition Partner will inform you about it. Your privacy is important to us. Please read this Privacy Notice carefully regarding our processing practices for recruitment and if at any time, you have questions or concerns about our privacy practices, please feel free to contact us at People@playtech.com.
We’re making a decision, but we know that you are too. Here are some more reasons to join, just in case you’re still asking yourself “Why Playtech”. Remember, we’re not just looking for people who will “fit in”— we want people who will contribute fresh and innovative ideas to our company culture.
We know you are excited and interested in how your application is doing, but sometimes the recruitment process takes time. We will not leave you waiting too long and never leave our applicants without any feedback. We will contact you as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you are always welcome to contact your recruiter with any additional questions.

Yes, you can apply to multiple roles with the same profile on your SmartRecruiters account. We always recommend to our candidates that they write a brief paragraph outlining their motivations for applying to any roles with us.
We do not set application deadlines for our positions. We keep the recruitment cycle open until we have closed our roles. To avoid disappointment, we recommend you apply at your earliest convenience.
Our standard turnaround time for open roles is 48 hours. We endeavour to get back to you within this time frame, however, depending on the volume of applications we get this might not always be possible, so please be patient with us!
Our job descriptions are carefully crafted with our hiring managers to ensure that we are properly representing the skills, experience and behaviours required for our positions. Read these carefully and if you feel they align nicely with your skillset then apply directly!
There are some basic tips and tricks that we can recommend to set yourself up for success if you’ve received an interview request with us.
1 – Learn as much as you can about Playtech. This website is a perfect place for you to understand what we do and what it’s like to work here.
2 – Use your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn as much information about the people you will be interviewing with and the team that you would join if you were successful. The Recruiter is your perfect ally to help set you up for success.
3 – Be yourself! As cliché as this may sound, if you’ve landed an in-person interview, it means that you already meet some of the core competencies we are looking for, so don’t be afraid to bring your whole self to the interview.
We endeavour to get back to all candidates who have interviewed with us in person within 7 working days with an outcome. When this is not possible, your recruiter will be in touch to provide you with an update – even if that means that there is no new information to share. As soon as we have a decision on the outcome, whether you are successful or not, we will always let you know as we appreciate your time and efforts.
When a new position becomes available, our Global Talent Acquisition team meet with the hiring manager(s) to fully scope out the requirements of the role, establish a recruitment process timeline and agree on evaluation benchmarks. Interviews are then conducted and evaluated against the agreed benchmarks. We look out for technical skills, behavioural competencies, experience and/or education as well as cultural fit.
Our roles do not typically carry relocation or housing support. However, this is something that you can inquire directly with your recruiter about as some positions will carry this additional benefit.
